The wax room

A quiet room, set up for each client.

Laquita runs the wax room, a few steps from the lash beds.

The wax table has its own corner, with a sink within reach and a task lamp. Paper goes down fresh for every client, and everything you'll need is on the trolley before you lie down.

  • Fresh paper for every client

  • A new spatula each time

  • A sink in the room

The tools

What's on the trolley

Hands lifting a white wax warmer on a trolley beside wooden spatulas and paper strips

The warmer and the spatulas

Wax is warmed in a small pot beside the table. Each client gets new wooden spatulas and fresh paper strips, and nothing goes back in the pot once it has touched skin.

The shaping tools

Small scissors and a spoolie brush trim and set the line, and tidy it once the wax is off. Tools are cleaned and disinfected between clients.

Before a first wax

A little preparation makes the visit shorter.

  • Let your hair grow in

Wax grips hair of a certain length. Your artist tells you at your first visit, and we'd rather rebook than wax too early.

  • Skip the scrubs

No scrubs, peels or sun on the day before, and no heat on the day of. Skin that's irritated may need to wait.

  • Tell us what you use

Tell us about any prescription skin products or past reactions, and your artist will say whether to wait.

  • Come on time

A wax visit is short. We hold 15 minutes, then the visit is shortened, not extended.

Add a wax to your fill.

A wax on its own is a short visit. With a fill it's one booking, wax first.
